About
Hi, I’m Géza – an IT-systems specialist and 3D printing enthusiast with more than 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and industrial automation.
I combine a solid background in system administration and DevOps with a strong interest in 3D design and additive manufacturing. My focus is on creating functional prototypes, practical tools, and high-quality prints that connect technology with everyday problem-solving.
Over the past decade, I have worked in both IT and industry:
-
as a system administrator, handling Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, networking, and automation,
-
and in industrial robotics, where I contributed to assembly lines and robotic installations.
Along the way, I discovered 3D printing – first as a hobby, now as a serious professional interest. What attracts me most is the combination of creativity and engineering: turning an idea into a physical object within hours.
I didn’t just stop at printing – I also built my own 3D printer from the ground up, tuning both the hardware and firmware to achieve reliable results. This hands-on experience gave me a deeper understanding of how different components, materials, and settings interact, and it helps me troubleshoot and optimize prints with precision.
I work with Onshape, FreeCAD, Blender, Solid Edge and FDM, and I’m constantly experimenting with new designs and materials.
